12 June 2024 - The Task Force Committee (JKTF) for Training Management and Competency of Scheme C under the Laboratory Management Division of Universiti Putra Malaysia (BPMU) held the Sharing Session Series 1/2024: Operation of High-Tech Equipment – HPLC & NMR, which took place in the NaturMeds A Seminar Room, Institute of Biosciences (IBS).

The objective of this sharing session was to provide laboratory staff with experience in specific scientific fields and technical knowledge of the equipment, while enhancing their technical skills through the exchange of opinions and experiences among laboratory staff at UPM.

This sharing session was attended by 30 participants from the Scheme C service category at UPM. The session began with a theoretical presentation on High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) by Ms. Zurina Zainal, followed by a theoretical presentation on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) by Mr. Salahudin Mohd Raof. After learning the theory of the high-tech equipment, participants were divided into two groups for the final session, which involved practical demonstrations of the high-tech equipment conducted simultaneously.
