7 October 2025, Tuesday – The Training and Competency Task Force Committee for Scheme C under the Laboratory Management Division of the University organized another training session titled “Operational Sharing Session on HPLC-MS & GCMS.” The session was held at Seminar Room NaturMeds A, Laboratory of Natural Medicines and Products Research, IBS, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This session aimed to provide laboratory staff with hands-on experience in specialized scientific fields and instrumentation techniques, as well as to enhance their technical knowledge through the exchange of ideas and experiences among laboratory staff at UPM. For the theoretical session, Mrs. Zurina Zainal presented on HPLC-MS, while Mrs. Mazina delivered an explanation on GCMS. After the theory session, the program continued with equipment demonstrations for both HPLC-MS and GCMS. A total of approximately 22 participants, consisting of Science Officers and Assistant Science Officers, took part in this session.
