30 July 2024, Tuesday – A training session for the science service scheme (C), titled "Sharing Session: Genetic Diseases and Stem Cell-Based Treatments," was held on July 30, 2024. This sharing session was organized by the Training and Competency Task Force Committee (JKTF) under the Laboratory Management Division of the University. The session was conducted in a hybrid format, using the Main Meeting Room, FPSK for in-person attendance and via Zoom Meeting for online participation.

The session, delivered by Associate Professor Dr. Norshariza Nordin, had three main objectives: to expose laboratory staff to the basics of genetics and genetic diseases, to enhance knowledge about stem cells and the prospects of stem cell-based therapies, and to share the latest information in the field of stem cell research in Malaysia. A total of 101 participants from Scheme C attended the sharing session online.
